Our commitment
J&K Dump Your Junk wants our website to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we keep working to improve the site over time.
What we have done
- Pages use clear structure: a header, main navigation, main content area, and footer, with headings in a logical order.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions (alt text).
- Every field on our quote request form has a visible label.
- The mobile menu button tells screen readers whether the menu is open or closed.
- Animations that fade content in are turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Our phone number is a tap-to-call link on every page.
- The site works with browser zoom and adjusts to phone, tablet, and desktop screens.
How we checked
On October 27, 2026, we ran an automated accessibility check (Google Lighthouse, which uses the axe-core testing engine) at a phone screen size on a preview build of our home page, contact page, a service page, and this page and our other policy pages. The pages scored between 97 and 100 out of 100. The check flagged low color contrast on some small helper text on our quote request form, and we are working to improve it. Automated tools cannot find every problem, so we also welcome feedback from the people who use our site.
Known limitations
Some parts of our site come from other companies, and we cannot fully control how accessible they are. These include the embedded Google Map on our contact page and the Cloudflare verification check on our quote request form. If either one gives you trouble, call us and we will help you directly.
